Taylor Swift cont.

After anxiously waiting a few short months, finally came the weekend I had marked on my calendar! Taylor swift in t.o! I brought with me one of my best friends/cousin (who you might have seen in my previous photo posts) and when I say brought I mean more as she demanded to come HAHA.
Getting to toronto is always long, but easy enough. It's once I get amongst the busy highway traffic that makes me tense up a little bit (downtown is a whole other issue haha). You don't notice until you get to your destination and your shoulders relax how stressful the drive was (unless youre a city slicka and drive in that 24/7 -which also means youre crazy).
We arrived at the hotel they put us up in for the night which was right in the heart of downtown, lovely. I thought driving a couple hours, eh Ill wear comfy clothes, I wont put make up on because Ill get ready there. Its not like I will walk into a fancy hotel and get looked at because I look like a bum in comparison. Nopppppeeee, that definitely happened hahaha. Which made it worse is that my luggage decided to break and give me a hard time and was rolling all over the floor *face palm*. Little awkward, note to self haha. Moving on.

Got ready and headed out COMPLETELY pumped. I've already said this, but toronto is such a cool place. Its also very pretty, gardens, pathways covered with vines and flowers, totally gorgeous. Can't forget the interesting people either, I posted it on my instagram of myself and spiderman outside the rogers center. This awesome gentleman wasn't asking for money in exchange for photos with him either. He was just bein spidey! Livin up the taylor fans and picking people up- literally (me included, why not come on hahah).
We got to our seats and we were really far away. Probably 5 rows from the very back but then again the tickets were free so I can't really complain (but I can a little because its my blog and I do what I want). She put on a good show! I just wish I was closer to see it. Even with the big screens for us folks at the back she was still tiny and it was a distant sound. She did her clean speech and I couldn't make out half of it so that was sad. Didn't they know I have been waiting to hear that god damn speech for weeks! hahah. She also had a neat light show, with LED wrist bands that were taped to our seats for us to put on! They lit up the entire center so amazingly, couldn't help being taken back by the beauty of it.

Over all it was a lot of fun and I screamed really loud to every song (which I apologized for in advance to the lady next to me lol). Happy gal! I might have cried during one of the slower songs too.... might have. It was just so good and it got to me! I love taylor! A night for the books.

We also revisited (for me anyways) the AGO and the Ripley's Aquarium the next day
The art gallery has started its year of photography since my last visit, and had some pretty cool exhibits going on. One of them being all about the atomic bomb. It was very interesting and insightful! Especially some of the pieces about radiation and its effects, crazy world we live in. Then we made our way up to my favorite floor! The contemporary section. They had a big exhibit of Anne Collier, she does amazing work. I love love love AGO there is always something interesting to see. One room was set up as a packed apartment, with random items across the floor etc. I didn't get a photo but it was cool to think how and why everything was placed the way it was. Oh ago, making me feel all deep and artsy hahah. Always a pleasure. Next was the aquarium! This place just makes me thirsty, wanting to swim, and wishing I was a mermaid all at once. Tell me again why I can't be a mermaid??
Its totally spectacular, to me at least! Must pay a visit if you are in the area. Its not just for kids! I would recommend going at the end of the day, cheaper and less busy!

KIT KAT downtown toronto, delicious
