DIY 5 MINUTE JOURNAL

I came across this awhile back have never tested it out until very recently. It is a 5 minute journal, literally that's all it takes- 5 minutes. 5 minutes to jump start your day with a positive attitude and small goals to work towards for a greater goal! Which is?!? A happier, more productive, positive over all meaningful life. 
I know right it sounds cheesy and ridiculous, but it is PROVEN to work. Which I completely believe. Waking up and writing down what you're grateful for makes you appreciate little things that maybe you normally wouldn't bother to think about, or not to take for granted things or people you currently already have around you. This 5 minute journal not only asks you about what to be grateful for but also why YOU are great. A lot of us struggle with beating ourselves up, some more than others. This journal forces you to see the positive in yourself which hello? how would this not make your day better! We should be building ourselves UP! Over time, it becomes more of a reality than just words on a paper, you believe in yourself! Lastly this journal is great because it works towards small goal setting which in turn on a daily basis, is what makes big goals happen; it is the key to striving every day to work harder towards the life you want.
Over all, This is a great small tool to make a big impact on our well being.
